3 Ways To Co-Operate with God And His People
Good News: You Don't Owe Anything Anymore!
Romans 6:13 says, "Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God."
Another word for an instrument is a tool. Think of a hammer. What can you do with a hammer? You can build a home or wreck a car. You can heal or hurt. Romans 6 encourages us to use our whole bodies as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.
Here are 3 ways to intentionally use your whole self as an instrument for the glory of God:
Confess together!
Name the ways you have cooperated with sin and ask for support as you step into freedom!
Listen to Him, together!
Discover His character and plan, and commit to responding to His Word together. Cooperate with His Spirit and His people!
Serve and give together!
Serving and giving together in partnership with a generous God makes people come alive!
Remember, you get to choose to live in such a way that invites people to step in Jesus' direction. Choose to cooperate with Him and His people to build something new, better, and different. Join Jesus - He changes everything.
