Robert was taught that to be a man of the house, you provided and protected your family. When his wife was diagnosed with cancer, he was faced with something he couldn't protect her from and was left feeling resentful towards God. "I was angry because my wife in my eyes, she was perfect."

In January of 2019, Robert's wife lost her fight with cancer when God called her home. Robert turned to GriefShare to help him process. The program has given Robert the ability to meet people who have similar stories and watch how God shows up in their lives. "God has led me down paths of helping other folks, If you ever come across anybody, a total stranger, just share what He's done for you, and He'll do the rest."
