At Canyon Ridge, we want to be a place where families go to get better. We also know that fostering is a tremendous way to do that. Fostering Life partners with organizations across Las Vegas to support, encourage, and connect fostering and potential foster families. There are plenty of ways to get involved, either as a volunteer or a foster family.

This is a great first step to learn more about Fostering Life. We’ll provide information on how you can join in as volunteers, and how to become a safe family and/or foster parent. We’ll answer any questions about fostering that you may have! We’d love to meet you and hear what God is placing on your heart.
Resources for Fostering Families
3rd Friday of each month from 6p-9p. Being a Foster Parents is a tremendous responsibility, and you deserve a break. Bring your kids for three hours of free childcare once a month! We’ll free up your night so that you can go catch a movie, grab a nice dinner, or just rest! Registration is required, so sign up now!
2nd Friday of each month from 6:30p-8:45p on the Lone Mountain Campus. Come join other foster parents to talk, connect, seek guidance and input. It’s good to share struggles and successes with other parents who can relate. Free childcare for kids 0-5th Grade, and registration is not required.
2nd Tuesday of every month from 6p-7:30p on the Lone Mountain Campus. Come together with other Foster Kinship parents to learn from each other and share life. Free childcare for kids 0-5th grade, and registration is not required.
Foster connect offers a growing network of Christian foster families in the Las Vegas valley for you to be a part of. We desire to connect foster families and adoptive families with resources for emotional, spiritual, and practical support.

Becoming a Foster Parent And/Or Safe Families
Join us for a foster care information session with the Clark County Department of Family Services. This is for those who are interested in fostering and/or helping those who foster. This class must be taken before you can enroll in foster parent training/qualification. 1st Saturday of every month from 9a-10:30a, or 4th Tuesday of every month from 6p-7:30p.
This is an eight-week training through Clark County Department of Family Services for those who are interested in becoming foster parents and/or foster parent respite givers.
Safe Families for Children is a movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. Through Host Families, Family Friends, and Family Coaches, we temporarily host children and provide a network of support to families in crisis while they get back on their feet. We open our hearts, our arms, and our homes.
