Fostering Life

Caring for kids in need in Vegas
At Canyon Ridge, we want to be a place where families go to get better. We also know that fostering is a tremendous way to do that. Fostering Life partners with organizations across Las Vegas to support, encourage, and connect fostering and potential foster families. There are plenty of ways to get involved, either as a volunteer or a foster family.

Bless Foster Families with Backpacks Filled with School Supplies

This year we have the opportunity to use our good resources to serve children in Foster Care as they head back to school this fall.
We are partnering with DFS (Department of Family Services) and supplying as many of these students as possible with school supplies.
Our generosity as a church can show these students that they are cared for and loved by God.
You can drop off school supplies at the Church Campus on our Drive Through Drop off Day on Wednesday, August 5, 10 am – 2 pm on the backside of the Children’s Building (enter off La Madre Street).
Or at Hannah’s Closet North (4079 North Rancho Drive, Suite 110, Las Vegas, NV 89130) during their open hours in July/August – For list of their hours/location go to https://www.facebook.com/hannahsclosetlv/

This is a great first step to learn more about Fostering Life. We’ll provide information on how you can join in as volunteers, and how to become a safe family and/or foster parent. We’ll answer any questions about fostering that you may have! We’d love to meet you and hear what God is placing on your heart.

Safe Families

Safe Families for Children is a movement fueled by compassion to keep children safe and families intact. Through Host Families, Family Friends, and Family Coaches, we temporarily host children and provide a network of support to families in crisis while they get back on their feet. We open our hearts, our arms, and our homes.
