Canyon Ridge is a place where families go to get better and fostering is a tremendous way to do that. There are plenty of ways to get involved, either as a volunteer or a foster family.

CARE COMMUNITIES

Want an opportunity to show up and make a difference in the foster community, but aren’t quite ready to foster yet? Care Communities come alongside foster families to provide spiritual, practical, and emotional support and ease the burden of fostering by building a support network for foster parents. Joining one is your chance to come together to support an existing foster family and walk alongside them on their journey.

PROVIDE DIAPERS

This is your opportunity to serve families in Foster Care as they care for their foster children. Canyon Ridge partners with Foster Kinship to supply as many families as possible. Show these families that they are cared for and loved by God by providing much-needed diapers! All sizes of diapers and pull-ups are accepted (larger sizes are especially needed).

You can drop off diapers at Marcie's Closet during their open hours.

Foster Parents Night Out

Being a Foster Parent is a tremendous responsibility, and it can be difficult to find regular respite care.

This is your chance to take a breather and know that your children and your foster children will have a fun, safe, and nurturing time.

Early Intervention pathway

Families in the community can open their homes to host children whose caregivers who are in crisis. These families are fingerprinted, background-checked, trained, and vetted. The goal is for these families to welcome the children into the home while the Family Resource Center (FRC) helps to support the parents with tangible resources.

Teen & Young Adult Mentors

Commit to supporting a foster kid who is getting ready to age out of the foster system or has already aged out and is getting established into adulthood. Mentors encourage them to grow in healthy relationships as well as to negate isolation. Walk with them as a loyal friend while also helping them set individual goals.
