Fostering Life
Canyon Ridge is a place where families can get better, and fostering is a tremendous way to do that. Care Communities are a great place to start if you want an opportunity to show up and make a difference in the foster community but aren’t quite ready to foster. These communities come alongside foster families to provide spiritual, practical, and emotional support and ease the burden of fostering by building a support network for foster parents. Join a community that comes together to support existing foster families and walk alongside them on their journey.
You’re Not Alone!
Foster Parent Night Out is the third Friday of each month from 6 to 9 p. Register under Foster Life Events below. This is your chance to take a breather and know that your children and your foster children will have a fun, safe, and nurturing time.
It’s good to share struggles and successes with other parents who can relate, and Foster Support Groups are the perfect place to do that. They are held on the fourth Friday Night of each month, from 6 to 8:45 p, in Room C110 at Canyon Ridge. Childcare is provided for birth through 5th grade. Foster Kinship Support Groups meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 6 - 7p in the InfoCenter.
