What To Remember When Joy Feels Far Away
If joy is being glad to be together, what do you do when joy feels far away, and is harder rather than better to be together?
Think about the relationships in your life, from your friends and family to your neighbors and coworkers. Relationships are all kinds of messy! But, every great relationship has a foundation of faith, where people show up over and over again, counting on the good that is ahead.
Even when you can't see or feel it, remember and trust that God is always up to something and invites you to keep walking towards Him. God wants you to experience the fullness of joy, always being glad to be with you! How does this make you want to respond to Him? Maybe it’s through texting a friend for a conversation, asking God for a reminder of His faithfulness, or intentionally being a reminder of God’s faithfulness to someone else.
God's faithfulness gives you the confidence to walk toward Hope, and it’s your faithfulness that keeps you walking. Relationship to God matters. Relationships with others matter. Walking with people changes everything, and it’s even better when people get to walk toward God together!
