3 Questions To Grow More Aware Of The Spirit

Have you ever wondered what the Holy Spirit is up to in your life? If you have, look no further than your life! The Spirit is in you, with you, and for you.

Romans 12:2 says, "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

This kind of transformation isn't a "one and done" kind of change - it's an ongoing process. Every day presents a new opportunity to step in Jesus' direction as we learn to know God's good and pleasing and perfect will. Life with the Spirit is a day-by-day relationship and friendship as He makes us more like Jesus!

And how will we know we are being transformed, becoming more like Jesus daily? Galatians 5:22-23 says, "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Look around your life. Is your life bearing these fruits of the Spirit?

So, where do you begin to lean in and grow more aware of the Spirit? Here are 3 helpful questions to reflect on this week as you discover what the Spirit is up to in your life!

  1. WHAT is the Spirit up to?

What is the Holy Spirit saying to you, and what fruits are you bearing in your life?

  2. WHO can help you on the journey?

How is the Holy Spirit helping you, and who is the Spirit bringing into your life?

  3. WHERE can I show up for others?

How is the Spirit inviting you to bring life as he models the best kind of friend to you?

As you become more aware of the Spirit in your life and the lives around you, the more aware you will be of how to respond. God is always about our good. Therefore, He is always about us becoming more like Jesus with the help of His Spirit.
