“Mom. My first friend. You don't always know, but I'm always watching. I see you, when you're playing with me, even when you're tired. Listening to me, hearing every wild idea inside my head. I see you picking up every toy, just for them to be thrown back across the room. I see you through my tears, when you pick me up too. I see your love on our big adventures, or in little moments. When you're helping me find that thing I lost. When you're helping me find myself. Mom, we don't make it easy on you. I know we drive you crazy sometimes, or all the time, but I know you're in my corner. Always. I see you in the quiet moments and in the loud ones too. I see you, just being there, with me, with us.
