Why God’s Plan Is Worth The Cost

When life gets tough, it’s easy to wonder if you’re on the wrong path. The struggles, surprises, and setbacks make you question if the effort is worth it. But Joseph’s story in Matthew 1:18-25 reminds you that God’s way is often costly, but it’s always better. God said, and Joseph did. His obedience, even in the face of difficulty, allowed God’s perfect plan to unfold in ways Joseph could never have imagined.

God invites you to trust Him through the challenges. By looking back, looking around, and looking ahead, you can find hope in His faithfulness and confidence in His promises.

Here’s how you can live this out:

Look Back: “When has God made good from tough?” Reflect on moments in your life where challenges led to something greater.

Look Around: “What is God saying or providing now?” Pay attention to the ways God might be guiding or supporting you today.

Look Ahead: “Wonder in expectation of good.” Believe that His plans are still unfolding and trust that the best is yet to come.
