The Story Isn't Over: Hold On to Hope

It’s easy to praise God when everything feels right. That’s what Palm Sunday looked like—Jesus riding into Jerusalem, the crowd cheering, people filled with hope that everything was about to change for the better. They waved branches, shouted praises, and celebrated what they believed was the beginning of victory. But just days later, that same Jesus was betrayed, arrested, and crucified. The celebration turned to confusion. The hope seemed lost.

And yet, this unraveling was part of the plan all along. Holy Week teaches a powerful truth: real faith doesn’t skip the hard parts. Jesus’ closest followers—His community—experienced the full emotional rollercoaster of following Him. One day they were cheering, the next they were scattered, scared, and unsure of what was coming. But Jesus remained steady. His love never changed. He moved through the suffering for their sake… and for yours. If you find yourself in a season where life feels uncertain, don’t rush to the happy ending. Don’t skip over the pain or the disappointment. Jesus doesn’t ask you to hide your struggle. He asks you to walk with Him through it.

As you reflect on Holy Week and your own journey of faith, remember these truths:

  • Palm Sunday reminds you to praise God for all He’s done.

  • Jesus’ path includes both celebration and suffering—so does yours.

  • Real transformation happens when you stay with Him through the hard parts.

Don’t skip steps. Let the story unfold. This week, walk with Jesus—through the joy, the pain, and the waiting. He’s with you in all of it.
