5 Ways To Stay Connected

Life moves at a million miles, so when you make a new connection with a lot of potential, it can be hard to stay connected. Relationships, however, are always worth the time, energy, and intentionality! Life is not meant to be lived alone. So, let's dive into five ways to stay connected to one another in meaningful ways:

1. Sit Together

Having the routine of sitting with the people you’re getting connected with is a great way to stay connected! So, plan a time a place to meet before every weekend! Together, make space to meet the people around you as well! After service is also a great time to continue conversations over a meal or coffee.

2. Eat Together

Nothing brings people together more than food! Sharing meals is a beautiful way to break the ice, explore a new place in town, share special family recipes, practice hospitality, have a space for great conversations, and more!

3. Serve Together

The joy of making a difference together is powerful! Wherever you are, there are so many ways to step in to serve your community - whether it’s joining a team to volunteer with at church, serving with a local outreach on a weekend, or finding community organizations to be a part of!

4. Pray Together

Prayer is a conversation with God - and God invites each person to share in this conversation alongside others. A great way to meaningfully stay connected throughout the week and grow in relationship with God and others is to start a prayer team.

5. Discover Together

Discover Canyon Ridge is a two-week class that will help you discover the mission of Canyon Ridge, how to get involved here, what following Jesus looks like in your own life, and how to bring that life to the people around you. This is a great opportunity to stay connected by attending the class together!

As you meet new people to do life with, continue to take your next steps toward meaningful connection with God and others!
