Who knew the disruption of quarantine would last this long?!
What began as an interruption of our routines seems to have turned into an all-out endurance challenge!
Heading into this fall in the midst of several months of quarantine-living, we need habits and practices that will help us go the distance.
This week, we reach back to a simple practice that may have seemed like a good idea before, but in times like these is essential.
- Grab your phone (or a piece of paper) and spend no less than 5 minutes listing everything you can think of that you’re grateful for. Invite a family member or friend to join you. Make it more fun… shortest list buys the longest list a coffee or ice cream.
- Get a journal (digital or paper) to keep a daily list of things you are grateful for.
- Set a reminder for 1 week from now to sit down with a friend or family member and talk about what effect daily gratitude has had on you.
- Post a few things you are grateful for in the comments of this Vlog to encourage us all.
